English Translation
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to say: "O Allah! I seek refuge in You from helplessness, laziness, cowardice, old age, and miserliness. And I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave and from the trial of life and death."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمفرمایا کرتے تھے”اے اللہ! میں عاجز ہونے، سستی، بزدلی، پڑھاپے اور بخیلی سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں اور قبر کے عذاب اور زندگی اور موت کے فتنہ سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں“[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1911]
