English Translation
It is narrated from the Mother of the Believers 'A'ishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to supplicate with these words: "O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the trial of Hell and the punishment of Hell, from the trial of the grave and the punishment of the grave, from the evil of the trial of wealth and the evil of the trial of poverty. And I seek refuge in You from the evil of the trial of the false messiah (al-Dajjal). O Allah! Wash away my sins with the water of snow and hail, and purify my heart of sins as You have purified a white garment of dirt and filth, and distance me from my sins as You have distanced the east from the west. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from laziness, old age, sin, and debt."
Urdu Translation
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمان کلمات کے ساتھ دعا کیا کرتے تھے”اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں جہنم کے فتنہ اور جہنم کے عذاب سے، قبر کے فتنہ اور قبر کے عذاب سے، امیری کے فتنہ کی برائی اور فقیری کے فتنہ کی برائی سے۔ اور میں مسیح دجال کے فتنہ کے شر سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔ اے اللہ! میرے گناہوں کو برف اور اولے کے پانی سے دھو دے اور میرا دل گناہوں سے ایسے پاک کر دے جیسے تو نے سفید کپڑے کو میل کچیل سے پاک کر دیا اور مجھ کو گناہوں سے ایسے دور کر دے جیسے تو نے مشرق کو مغرب سے دور کیا ہے۔ اے اللہ! میں سستی، بڑھاپے، گناہ اور قرض سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں“۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1910]
