English Translation
Narrated Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was the most handsome of people, the most generous, and the most courageous. One night the people of Madinah were alarmed (at the approach of some enemy), and the people went in the direction from which the sound came. On the way they found the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) returning (he had gone out alone, ahead of the people, to investigate) and he had been the first to go towards the sound. He was riding the bare back of Abu Talhah's horse with a sword slung around his neck, and he was saying, "There is nothing to fear, there is nothing to fear. This horse is like an ocean." That horse had previously been slow (this too was a miracle of his, that it became swift). [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1581]

سیدنا انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسب لوگوں سے زیادہ خوبصورت، سب سے زیادہ سخی اور سب سے زیادہ بہادر تھے۔ ایک رات مدینہ والوں کو (کسی دشمن کے آنے کا) خوف ہوا تو جدھر سے آواز آ رہی تھی لوگ ادھر چلے، تو راستے میں رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو لوٹتے ہوئے پایا (آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلملوگوں سے پہلے اکیلے خبر لینے کو تشریف لے گئے ہوئے تھے) اور سب سے پہلے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمآواز کی طرف تشریف لے گئے تھے اور سیدنا ابوطلحہ کے گھوڑے کی ننگی پیٹھ پر سوار تھے اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے گلے میں تلوار تھی اور فرماتے تھے کہ کچھ ڈر نہیں، کچھ ڈر نہیں۔ یہ گھوڑا تو دریا ہے اور پہلے وہ گھوڑا سست تھا (یہ بھی آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکا معجزہ تھا کہ وہ تیز ہو گیا)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1581]
