English Translation
Uqbah ibn Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that a silk cloak was given to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) as a gift. He wore it and prayed in it, then after the prayer, he removed it forcefully as if he detested it and said: "This is not befitting for the God-fearing."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عقبہ بن عامر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس ایک ریشمی قباء تحفہ میں آئی تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اس کو پہنا اور نماز پڑھی، پھر نماز سے فارغ ہو کر اس کو زور سے اتارا جیسے اس کو برا جانتے ہیں پھر فرمایا کہ یہ پرہیزگاروں کے لائق نہیں ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1337]
