Narrated bySalamah ibn al-Akwa
English Translation
Narrated Salamah ibn al-Akwa (may Allah be pleased with him): He went to al-Hajjaj, who said, "O Ibn al-Akwa! You have apostatized, for you have gone to live in the desert again." Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "No; rather, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) gave me permission to live in the desert."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا سلمہ بن اکوع رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہوہ حجاج کے پاس گئے، تو وہ بولا کہ اے ابن الاکوع! تو مرتد ہو گیا ہے کہ پھر جنگل میں رہنے لگا ہے سیدنا سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ نہیں بلکہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے مجھے جنگل میں رہنے کی اجازت دی تھی۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1188]
