English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "The wrath of Allah the Exalted is very severe upon the people who did this," and he pointed toward his tooth, and he said, "The wrath of Allah the Exalted is (also) very severe upon a person whom the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) kills in the way of Allah" (that is, whom he strikes down in jihad, because that accursed one intended to kill the Prophet; and by this are not meant those whom he (peace be upon him) kills as a legal punishment or in retaliation).
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: اللہ تعالیٰ کا غصہ ان لوگوں پر بہت زیادہ ہوتا ہے جنہوں نے ایسا کیا اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماپنے دانت کی طرف اشارہ کرتے تھے اور فرمایا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کا غصہ اس شخص پر (بھی) بہت زیادہ ہوتا ہے جس کو رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماللہ تعالیٰ کی راہ میں قتل کریں (یعنی جہاد میں جس کو ماریں کیونکہ اس مردود نے پیغمبر کو مارنے کا قصد کیا ہو گا اور اس سے مراد وہ لوگ نہیں ہیں جن کو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمحد یا قصاص میں ماریں)[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1165]
