English Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): We were sitting in the mosque when the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came to us and said, "Let us go to the Jews." We went with him (peace be upon him) until we reached the Jews. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) stood up and called out to them, saying, "O people of the Jews! Accept Islam and you will be safe." They said, "O Abu al-Qasim (peace be upon him)! You have conveyed (the message of Allah the Exalted)." The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "That is what I want." Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said again, "O Jews! Accept Islam and you will be safe." They said, "O Abu al-Qasim (peace be upon him)! You have conveyed (the message of Allah)." The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "That is what I want (that you acknowledge that the message of Allah the Exalted has reached you)." Then he (peace be upon him) said the same a third time and said, "Know that the earth belongs to Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him), and I intend to expel you from this land; so whoever can sell his property, let him sell it; otherwise, know that the earth belongs to Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him)." Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہہم مسجد میں بیٹھے تھے کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمہماری طرف تشریف لائے اور فرمایا کہ یہودیوں کے پاس چلو۔ ہم آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ گئے یہاں تک کہ یہود کے پاس پہنچے، تو رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکھڑے ہو گئے اور ان کو پکارا اور فرمایا کہ اے یہود کے لوگو! مسلمان ہو جاؤ محفوظ ہو جاؤ گے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اے ابوالقاسم (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم)! آپ نے (اللہ تعالیٰ کا) پیغام پہنچا دیا۔ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ میں یہی چاہتا ہوں۔ پھر رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اے یہود مسلمان ہو جاؤ محفوظ ہو جاؤ گے۔ وہ کہنے لگے کہ اے ابوالقاسم (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم)! آپ نے (اللہ کا پیغام) پہنچا دیا۔ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ میں یہی چاہتا ہوں (کہ تم اللہ تعالیٰ کے پیغام کے پہنچ جانے کا اقرار کرو) پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے تیسری بار یہی کہا اور فرمایا کہ جان لو کہ زمین اللہ اور اس کے رسولصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی ہے اور میں چاہتا ہوں کہ تم کو اس ملک سے باہر نکال دوں، تو جو شخص اپنے مال کو بیچ سکے، وہ بیچ ڈالے اور نہیں تو یہ سمجھ لو کہ زمین اللہ اور اس کے رسولصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1153]
