English Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "When you travel in the days of fodder and water (that is, in the good season, when animals find water and fodder in plenty), then let the camels take their share from the land; and when you travel in a drought, then travel quickly upon them (so that you cross the drought-stricken land swiftly). And when you halt at night, halt away from the road (that is, make your camp off the road), for the roads at night are the haunts of insects and vermin." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1116]
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: جب تم چارا اور پانی کے دنوں میں سفر کرو (یعنی اچھے موسم میں، جب جانوروں کو پانی اور چارہ وافر ملے) تو اونٹوں کو زمین سے ان کا حصہ لینے دو اور جب قحط میں سفر کرو، تو جلدی چلے جاؤ ان پر (تاکہ قحط زدہ ملک سے جلد پار ہو جائیں) اور جب تم رات کو اترو تو راہ سے بچ کر اترو (یعنی پڑاؤ کرو) کیونکہ رات کے وقت راستے کیڑوں مکوڑوں کے ٹھکانے ہوتے ہیں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1116]
