Abu Ghassan al-Misma'i, Malik ibn Abd al-Wahid, and Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated to me. Abu Ghassan said: Hadrat Mu'adh narrated to us, and Ishaq said: Hadrat Mu'adh ibn Hisham, the associate of al-Dastawai, informed us, he (Hadrat Mu'adh) said: My father narrated to me from Amir al-Ahwal, from Makhul, from Abdullah ibn Muhayriz, from Hadrat Abu Mahdhura (may Allah be well pleased with him), who narrated that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) taught him this Adhan: 'Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest; I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, I bear witness that there is no god but Allah; I bear witness that Muhammad is the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), I bear witness that Muhammad is the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) — then repeat — I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, I bear witness that there is no god but Allah; I bear witness that Muhammad is the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), I bear witness that Muhammad is the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him); Come to prayer — twice — Come to success — twice.' Ishaq added: 'Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest; there is no god but Allah.'

مجھ سے ابو غسان مسمعی مالک بن عبدالواحد نے اور اسحاق بن ابراہیم نے حدیث بیان کی، ابو غسان نے کہا: ہم سے حضرت معاذ نے حدیث بیان کی، اور اسحاق نے کہا: ہمیں حضرت معاذ بن ہشام صاحب الدستوائی نے خبر دی، انہوں (حضرت معاذ) نے کہا: مجھ سے میرے والد نے عامر احول سے حدیث بیان کی، انہوں نے مکحول سے، انہوں نے عبداللہ بن محیریز سے، انہوں نے حضرت ابو محذورہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ اللہ کے نبی صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے انہیں یہ اذان سکھائی: "اللہ اکبر اللہ اکبر، اشہد ان لا الہ الا اللہ، اشہد ان لا الہ الا اللہ، اشہد ان محمداً رسول اللہ، اشہد ان محمداً رسول اللہ — پھر دوبارہ کہے — اشہد ان لا الہ الا اللہ، اشہد ان لا الہ الا اللہ، اشہد ان محمداً رسول اللہ، اشہد ان محمداً رسول اللہ، حی علی الصلوٰۃ — دو مرتبہ — حی علی الفلاح — دو مرتبہ۔" اسحاق نے اتنا اضافہ کیا: "اللہ اکبر اللہ اکبر، لا الہ الا اللہ۔"
