Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَا مِنَ الأَنْبِيَاءِ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلاَّ قَدْ أُعْطِيَ مِنَ الآيَاتِ مَا مِثْلُهُ آمَنَ عَلَيْهِ الْبَشَرُ وَإِنَّمَا كَانَ الَّذِي أُوتِيتُ وَحْيًا أَوْحَى اللَّهُ إِلَىَّ فَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَكُونَ أَكْثَرَهُمْ تَابِعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: There has never been a the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) among the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)s who was not granted signs (miracles) upon which people believed. And what I have been granted is the revelation that Allah has revealed to me (which is both a miracle and a light). Therefore I hope that I shall have the greatest following among them on the Day of Resurrection.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: انبیاء میں سے ہر ایک نبی کو ایسی نشانیاں (معجزے) دی گئیں جن (کو دیکھ کر) لوگ ایمان لائے، اور وحی مجھی کو دی گئی، جو اللہ نے مجھ پر نازل فرمائی، (وہ معجزہ بھی ہے اور نور بھی 'ولكن جعلناه نورا') اس لیے میں امید کرتا ہوں کہ قیامت کے دن ان سب سے زیادہ پیروکار میرے ہوں گے۔
