حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " صَلاَةُ الْجَمَاعَةِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ صَلاَةِ الْفَذِّ بِسَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ دَرَجَةً " .
English Translation
Hadrat Yahya ibn Yahya said: I read before Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him), from Nafi', from Hadrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both), that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: 'Prayer said in a congregation is twenty-seven degrees more excellent than prayer said by a single person.'
Urdu Translation
یحییٰ بن یحییٰ نے کہا: میں نے امام مالک رحمۃ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ کو نافع سے پڑھ کر سنایا، انھوں نے حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ''باجماعت نماز پڑھنا اکیلے کی نماز سے ستائیس درجے افضل ہے۔''
