حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو النَّضْرِ، هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ الأَشْجَعِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ مِغْوَلٍ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ مُصَرِّفٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي مَسِيرٍ - قَالَ - فَنَفِدَتْ أَزْوَادُ الْقَوْمِ قَالَ حَتَّى هَمَّ بِنَحْرِ بَعْضِ حَمَائِلِهِمْ - قَالَ - فَقَالَ عُمَرُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَوْ جَمَعْتَ مَا بَقِيَ مِنْ أَزْوَادِ الْقَوْمِ فَدَعَوْتَ اللَّهَ عَلَيْهَا . قَالَ فَفَعَلَ - قَالَ - فَجَاءَ ذُو الْبُرِّ بِبُرِّهِ وَذُو التَّمْرِ بِتَمْرِهِ - قَالَ وَقَالَ مُجَاهِدٌ وَذُو النَّوَاةِ بِنَوَاهُ - قُلْتُ وَمَا كَانُوا يَصْنَعُونَ بِالنَّوَى قَالَ كَانُوا يَمُصُّونَهُ وَيَشْرَبُونَ عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءَ . قَالَ فَدَعَا عَلَيْهَا - قَالَ - حَتَّى مَلأَ الْقَوْمُ أَزْوِدَتَهُمْ - قَالَ - فَقَالَ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ " أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ لاَ يَلْقَى اللَّهَ بِهِمَا عَبْدٌ غَيْرَ شَاكٍّ فِيهِمَا إِلاَّ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ " .
English Translation
Hadrat Talhah ibn Musarrif narrated from Abu Salih, from Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him), who said: We were with the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) on a journey. The provisions of the people ran out, to the extent that he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) considered slaughtering some of their camels. Hadrat Umar (may Allah be well pleased with him) submitted: O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), if you were to gather whatever provisions remain with the people and then supplicate to Allah the Exalted, that would be better. So he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) did so. Then he supplicated to Allah the Exalted for blessings in it, and then called the people to bring their vessels. The people came with their vessels and kept filling them until no vessel remained empty. Then everyone ate and there was still food left over. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) then stated: I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that I am the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). No servant meets Allah with these two testimonies, without any doubt regarding them, and is then barred from Paradise.
Urdu Translation
حضرت طلحہ بن مصرف نے ابو صالح سے، انہوں نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی، انہوں نے کہا: ہم ایک سفر میں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ تھے۔ لوگوں کا زادِ راہ ختم ہو گیا، حتیٰ کہ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے لوگوں کے کچھ اونٹ ذبح کرنے کا ارادہ فرمایا۔ اس پر حضرت عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! اگر آپ لوگوں کے بچے ہوئے زادِ راہ جمع فرمائیں اور پھر اللہ تعالیٰ سے دعا فرمائیں تو بہتر ہے۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ایسا ہی فرمایا۔ پھر آپ نے اللہ تعالیٰ سے برکت کی دعا فرمائی، پھر لوگوں کو بلایا کہ وہ اپنے برتن لے آئیں۔ لوگ اپنے برتن لے کر آئے اور بھرتے رہے، کوئی برتن خالی نہ رہا۔ پھر سب نے کھایا اور بچ بھی گیا۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور میں اللہ کا رسول ہوں۔ جو بندہ بھی بغیر کسی شک کے ان دونوں گواہیوں کے ساتھ اللہ سے ملے گا، وہ جنت سے محروم نہیں رہے گا۔
