Arabic (Original)
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «غِفَارُ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهَا وَأَسْلَمُ سَالَمَهَا اللَّهُ وَعُصَيَّةُ عَصَتِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ». مُتَّفق عَلَيْهِ
English Translation
Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to mention himself by several names, saying: "I am Muhammad, Ahmad, al-Muqaffi (the Follower), al-Hashir (the Gatherer), the Prophet of Repentance, and the Prophet of Mercy." Reported by Muslim.
Urdu Translation
ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا:”قبیلہ غفار جو ہے، اللہ نے انہیں معاف فرما دیا، قبیلہ اسلم کو اللہ نے سلامت رکھا اور جو قبیلہ عصیہ ہے اس نے اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی نافرمانی کی۔“متفق علیہ۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب المناقب/حدیث: 5984]
