Arabic (Original)
وَعَن الْحسن عَن سَمُرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْحَسَبُ الْمَالُ وَالْكَرَمُ التَّقْوَى». رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وابنُ مَاجَه
English Translation
Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: "The best of women is the one who pleases you when you look at her, obeys you when you command her, and guards your property and her chastity in your absence."
Urdu Translation
حسن بصری ؒ سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کرتے ہیں، انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا:”دنیا میں باعث اعزاز مال ہے جبکہ اللہ کے ہاں (آخرت میں) باعث اعزاز تقویٰ ہے۔“سندہ ضعیف، رواہ الترمذی و ابن ماجہ۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب الآداب/حدیث: 4901]
