عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُصُّ أَوْ يَأْخُذُ مِنْ شَارِبِهِ وَكَانَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ خَلِيلُ الرَّحْمَنِ صَلَوَاتُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَلَيْهِ يَفْعَله. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
English Translation
Ibn Abbas narrated: The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to trim or clip his mustache, and Ibrahim, the Khalil (close friend) of the Most Merciful — may the blessings of the Most Merciful be upon him — also used to do so. Narrated by al-Tirmidhi.
Urdu Translation
ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اپنی مونچھیں کتراتے تھے اور ابراہیم خلیل الرحمن صلوات الرحمن علیہ بھی مونچھیں کتراتے تھے۔ اسنادہ ضعیف، رواہ الترمذی۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب اللباس/حدیث: 4437]
