Arabic (Original)
وَعَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَوْحَى إِلَيَّ: أَيَّ هَؤُلَاءِ الثَّلَاثَةِ نَزَلْتَ فَهِيَ دَارُ هِجْرَتِكَ الْمَدِينَةِ أَوِ الْبَحْرَيْنِ أَوْ قِنَّسْرِينَ ". رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
English Translation
Jarir b. ‘Abdallah reported the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) as saying, “God revealed to me that whichever of these three I settled in, it would be the abode of my emigration:Medina, al-Bahrain, (In eastern Arabia, on the Persian Gulf)* or Qinnasrin."(In Syria) Tirmidhi transmitted it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت جریر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: اللہ تعالیٰ نے مجھے وحی فرمائی کہ ان تین جگہوں میں سے جہاں بھی تم اترو وہ تمہاری ہجرت کا گھر ہے: مدینہ، بحرین یا قِنَّسرین۔ (ترمذی)
