Arabic (Original)
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: اسْتَأْذَنْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْجِهَادِ. فَقَالَ: «جهادكن الْحَج»
English Translation
Hadrat ‘Aisha said she asked the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)’s permission to take part in jihad, and he replied, “The jihad of you women is the pilgrimage.” Bukhari and Muslim.
Urdu Translation
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا فرماتی ہیں کہ میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے جہاد کی اجازت مانگی تو آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: تمہارا جہاد حج ہے۔ (بخاری و مسلم)
