أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بُجَيْرٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْبُخَارِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْإِسْكَنْدَرَانِيُّ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «زَيِّنُوا الْقُرْآنَ بِأَصْوَاتِكُمْ»
English Translation
Al-Hasan bin Sufyan narrated to us, Abu Bakr bin Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Waki' narrated to us from Sufyan from al-A'mash from Abd Allah bin Murrah from Masruq from Abd Allah who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Do not wish to be like anyone except in two cases: a man whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it in the cause of truth, and a man whom Allah has given wisdom and he judges by it and teaches it.'
