أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جَابِرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سُلَيْمَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ الْمِقْدَادَ بْنَ الْأَسْوَدِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَبْقَى عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْأَرْضِ بَيْتُ مَدَرٍ وَلَا وَبَرٍ إِلَّا أَدْخَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ كَلِمَةَ الْإِسْلَامِ بِعِزِّ عَزِيزٍ أَوْ بِذُلِّ ذَلِيلٍ»
English Translation
Abdullah ibn Salm informed us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to me, Ibn Jabir narrated to us, I heard Sulaym ibn Amir say: I heard al-Miqdad ibn al-Aswad say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "There will not remain on the surface of the earth a house of mud-brick or hair (tent) except that the word of Islam will enter upon them, through the honor of one who is honored or the humiliation of one who is humiliated."
