أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ الْحَافِظُ بِتُسْتَرَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ الْقَطَّانِ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَتَبَ إِلَى كِسْرَى وَقَيْصَرَ وَأُكَيْدِرَ دُومَةَ يَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلَا»
English Translation
Al-Hasan ibn Sufyan narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Bashar narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated to us, from al-Hakam, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, from 'A'ishah, who said: I used to apply perfume to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ before he went into ihram and when he came out of ihram.
