أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ الزَّمَانَ الطَّوِيلَ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ثُمَّ يَخْتِمُ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَيَجْعَلُهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ الزَّمَانَ الطَّوِيلَ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ ثُمَّ يَخْتِمُ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَيَجْعَلُهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ»
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Indeed, a man may do the deeds of the people of Paradise for a long time, then Allah seals for him with the deeds of the people of the Fire, making him from the people of the Fire. And indeed, a man may do the deeds of the people of the Fire for a long time, then Allah seals for him with the deeds of the people of Paradise, making him from the people of Paradise."
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "بے شک ایک آدمی طویل عرصے تک جنت والوں کے عمل کرتا ہے پھر اللہ تعالیٰ اس کا خاتمہ جہنم والوں کے عمل پر کر دیتا ہے اور اسے جہنمیوں میں سے بنا دیتا ہے۔ اور بے شک ایک آدمی طویل عرصے تک جہنم والوں کے عمل کرتا ہے پھر اللہ تعالیٰ اس کا خاتمہ جنت والوں کے عمل پر کر دیتا ہے اور اسے جنتیوں میں سے بنا دیتا ہے۔"
