أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ مَوْهَبٍ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ عَقِيلٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فِي أَيَّامِ عِيدٍ وَعِنْدَهَا جَارِيَتَانِ تُغَنِّيَانِ وَتُدَفِّفَانِ وَتَضْرِبَانِ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مُتَغَشٍّ بِثَوْبِهِ فَانْتَهَرَهُمَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَكَشَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ وَقَالَ «دَعْهُنَّ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ فَإِنَّهَا أَيَّامُ عِيدٍ وَتِلْكَ أَيَّامُ مِنًى» قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ وَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَسْتُرُنِي بِرِدَائِهِ وَأَنَا أَنْظُرُ إِلَى الْحَبَشَةِ وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَأَنَا جَارِيَةٌ
English Translation
It is narrated from 'A'ishah (may Allah be well pleased with her) that Abu Bakr entered upon her during days of 'Eid while there were two young girls with her singing, beating the tambourine and striking it, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was covered with his garment. Abu Bakr rebuked them, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) uncovered his face and said: «Leave them, O Abu Bakr, for these are days of 'Eid, and those are the days of Mina.» 'A'ishah said: And I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) screening me with his cloak while I was watching the Abyssinians as they were playing in the mosque, and I was a young girl.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ عید کے دنوں میں ابوبکر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ ان کے پاس آئے اور ان کے پاس دو لڑکیاں تھیں جو گا رہی تھیں، دف بجا رہی تھیں اور ضرب لگا رہی تھیں، اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کپڑے سے ڈھکے ہوئے تھے۔ ابوبکر نے انہیں ڈانٹا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اپنا چہرہ کھولا اور فرمایا: «انہیں چھوڑ دو اے ابوبکر، یہ عید کے دن ہیں، اور وہ منیٰ کے دن ہیں۔» عائشہ نے کہا: اور میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو دیکھا کہ آپ اپنی چادر سے مجھے چھپا رہے تھے جبکہ میں حبشیوں کو مسجد میں کھیلتے ہوئے دیکھ رہی تھی، اور میں ایک چھوٹی لڑکی تھی۔
