أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّامِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمَقَابِرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ الَّذِي يَجُرُّ ثَوْبَهُ مِنَ الْخُيَلَاءِ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Sami informed us, al-Maqabiri narrated to us, Isma'il ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Dinar informed me that he heard Ibn Umar say: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Indeed, the one who drags his garment out of vanity, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.'
