English Translation
Abu Khalifah narrated to us, saying: Abu Al-Walid narrated to us, saying: Shu'bah narrated to us from Qatadah from Anas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) fell from his horse and his right side was scratched or his right shoulder was scratched, so we entered upon him to visit him. The prayer time came, so he prayed with us while sitting. A man said: We heard him when he finished his prayer or when he gave the taslim saying: "The imam is appointed only to be followed. If he says the takbir, say the takbir, and when he bows, bow, and when he raises his head, raise your heads, and when he says: 'Allah hears whoever praises Him,' say: 'O Allah, our Lord, to You is the praise,' and when he prostrates, prostrate, and if he prays sitting, pray sitting."
