أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ رَجَعْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ مَكَّةَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنَّا بِبَعْضِ الطَّرِيقِ تَعَجَّلَ قَوْمٌ عِنْدَ الْعَصْرِ فَتَوَضَّؤُوا وَهُمْ عِجَالٌ قَالَ فَانْتَهَيْنَا إِلَيْهِمْ وَأَعْقَابُهُمْ تَلُوحُ لَمْ يَمَسَّهَا الْمَاءُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «وَيْلٌ لِلْأَعْقَابِ مِنَ النَّارِ أَسْبِغُوا الْوُضُوءَ»
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated: We returned with the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) from Makkah to Madinah. When we were at a certain point on the road, some people hastened at the time of Asr prayer and performed wudu hurriedly. We reached them and their heels were showing dry, untouched by water. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Woe to the heels from the Fire! Perform wudu thoroughly.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ مکہ سے مدینہ لوٹ رہے تھے۔ جب ہم راستے میں کسی جگہ تھے تو کچھ لوگوں نے عصر کے وقت جلدی کی اور جلدی جلدی وضو کیا۔ ہم ان کے پاس پہنچے تو ان کی ایڑیاں خشک چمک رہی تھیں، پانی نے انہیں نہیں چھوا تھا۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: 'ایڑیوں کو آگ سے ہلاکت ہے! وضو مکمل طور پر کرو۔'
