أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَسْلَمَ قَالَ مَا نِمْتُ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ « «أَمَا إِنَّكَ لَوْ قُلْتَ حِينَ أَمْسَيْتَ أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ لَمْ يَضُرَّكَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ»
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that a man from the tribe of Aslam said: 'I could not sleep last night.' The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Had you said in the evening: I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created, it would not have harmed you, by the will of Allah.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ قبیلہ اسلم کے ایک شخص نے کہا: آج رات مجھے نیند نہیں آئی۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: 'اگر تم شام کے وقت یہ کہہ لیتے: میں اللہ کے کامل کلمات کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں اس کی مخلوق کے شر سے، تو ان شاء اللہ وہ تمہیں نقصان نہ پہنچاتا۔'
