حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ دَرَّاجٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَوْ أَنَّ مِقْمَعًا مِنْ حَدِيدٍ وُضِعَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَاجْتَمَعَ لَهُ الثَّقَلَانِ مَا أَقَلُّوهُ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Sa'id [al-Khudri] (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "If an iron mace were placed on the earth and both the jinn and mankind gathered together for it, they would not be able to lift it from the earth." This hadith has a sound chain, though they did not record it. Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in al-Talkhis.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوسعید [خدری] رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "اگر لوہے کا ایک مقمع (گرز) زمین پر رکھا جائے اور جن و انس سب جمع ہو جائیں تو وہ اسے زمین سے نہ اٹھا سکیں۔" یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن دونوں نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا۔ ذہبی نے تلخیص میں اس پر سکوت کیا۔
