أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو عُلَاثَةَ ثَنَا أَبِي ثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ فِي ذِكْرِ «مَنْ تَخَلَّفَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي تَبُوكَ كَعْبُ بْنُ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْقَيْنِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ سَوَّادِ بْنِ غَنْمِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ»
English Translation
Abu Ja'far al-Baghdadi informed us, Abu Ulathah narrated to us, my father narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Abu al-Aswad narrated to me from Urwah ibn al-Zubayr regarding the mention of: 'Those who stayed behind from among the Companions of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) during [the expedition of] Tabuk: Hadrat Ka'b ibn Malik ibn al-Qayn ibn Ka'b ibn Sawwad ibn Ghanm ibn Sa'd (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated to us from the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).'
Urdu Translation
ابو جعفر البغدادی نے ہمیں خبر دی، ابو علاثہ نے ہمیں بیان کیا، میرے والد نے ہمیں بیان کیا، ابن لہیعہ نے ہمیں بیان کیا، ابو الاسود نے مجھے عروہ بن زبیر سے روایت کیا، اس ذکر میں: 'رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے صحابہ کرام میں سے جو تبوک میں پیچھے رہ گئے تھے: حضرت کعب بن مالک بن قین بن کعب بن سواد بن غنم بن سعد رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے ہمیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے روایت بیان کی۔'
