Hadrat Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: On the night the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was taken on the Night Journey, he met Ibrahim, Musa, and 'Isa (peace be upon them all), and they discussed the Hour. They began with Ibrahim and asked him about it, but he had no knowledge of it. Then Musa, and he had no knowledge of it. Then they turned the discussion to 'Isa, and he said: Allah has entrusted to me the knowledge of what comes just before it, but the Hour itself — none knows it. He mentioned the emergence of the Dajjal: I shall descend and kill him, and the people will return to their lands, and Ya'juj and Ma'juj will confront them — they surge from every elevated place. They will not pass by any water except they drink it, nor by anything except they corrupt it. People will cry out to Allah in supplication, and He will cause them to die. Then the earth will cry out to Allah from their stench, and they will cry out to me, so I will supplicate Allah, and He will send rain from the sky that will carry their bodies and cast them into the sea. Then the mountains will be leveled and the earth will be stretched like a leather hide. Allah entrusted to me that when that happens, the Hour is to the people like a pregnant woman at full term — her family does not know when her labor will surprise them, by night or by day. Abdullah ibn Mas'ud said: I found confirmation of this in the Book of Allah: 'Until when Ya'juj and Ma'juj are let loose and they surge from every elevated place, and the true promise draws near' (al-Anbiya: 96-97). All of the people from every place they come on the Day of Judgment — that is an elevated place (hadab). This hadith has a sound chain of transmission, and they did not record it.

حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے: معراج کی رات حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم حضرت ابراہیم، حضرت موسیٰ اور حضرت عیسیٰ علیہم السلام سے ملے اور انہوں نے قیامت کے بارے میں بات کی۔ پہلے حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام سے پوچھا لیکن ان کے پاس اس کا علم نہ تھا۔ پھر حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام سے لیکن ان کے پاس بھی علم نہ تھا۔ پھر بات حضرت عیسیٰ علیہ السلام کی طرف پھری تو انہوں نے فرمایا: اللہ نے مجھے اس سے قبل کی باتوں کا علم دیا ہے لیکن قیامت خود — اسے ہم نہیں جانتے۔ انہوں نے دجال کے خروج کا ذکر کیا: میں اتروں گا اور اسے قتل کروں گا اور لوگ اپنے شہروں کو لوٹیں گے تو یاجوج ماجوج ان کا سامنا کریں گے اور وہ ہر اونچی جگہ سے نکلیں گے۔ وہ کسی پانی سے نہیں گزریں گے مگر اسے پی جائیں گے اور کسی چیز سے نہیں گزریں گے مگر اسے تباہ کر دیں گے۔ لوگ اللہ سے فریاد کریں گے اور دعا کریں گے تو اللہ انہیں مار دے گا۔ زمین ان کی بدبو سے اللہ کو پکارے گی اور لوگ مجھ سے فریاد کریں گے تو میں اللہ سے دعا کروں گا اور وہ آسمان سے بارش بھیجے گا جو ان کے جسموں کو اٹھا کر سمندر میں پھینک دے گا۔ پھر پہاڑ ریزہ ریزہ ہوں گے اور زمین چمڑے کی طرح پھیلائی جائے گی۔ اللہ نے مجھ سے عہد لیا کہ جب یہ ہو تو قیامت لوگوں سے ایسے ہے جیسے پوری حاملہ عورت — اس کے گھر والے نہیں جانتے کہ وہ انہیں کب رات کو یا دن کو اپنی ولادت سے چونکا دے۔ حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے فرمایا: مجھے اس کی تصدیق اللہ کی کتاب میں ملی: 'یہاں تک کہ جب یاجوج ماجوج کھول دیے جائیں گے اور وہ ہر اونچی جگہ سے نکلیں گے اور سچا وعدہ قریب آ جائے گا' (الانبیاء: 96-97)۔ سب لوگ ہر جگہ سے جہاں سے بھی قیامت کے دن آئیں وہ حدب (اونچی جگہ) ہے۔ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے اور انہوں نے اسے روایت نہیں کیا۔
