حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ الْعَدْلُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ أَنْبَأَ مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ إِنَّمَا «جَمَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بَيْنَ الْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ لِأَنَّهُ عَلِمَ أَنَّهُ لَيْسَ بِحَاجٍّ بَعْدَهَا» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ
English Translation
Narrated from Hadrat Abu Qatadah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: "The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) combined the Hajj and the Umrah because he knew he would not perform Hajj after it." This is an authentic hadith meeting the conditions of the two Shaykhs, yet they did not record it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوقتادہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے فرمایا: "رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے حج اور عمرہ جمع فرمائے کیونکہ آپ جانتے تھے کہ اس کے بعد حج نہیں فرمائیں گے۔" یہ حدیث شیخین کی شرط پر صحیح ہے مگر انہوں نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا۔
