أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ حَيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ حَيَّةَ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْمَاشِي أَمَامَ الْجِنَازَةِ وَالرَّاكِبُ خَلْفَهَا وَالطِّفْلُ يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ»
English Translation
Hadrat al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "The one walking should be behind the funeral procession, and the one riding should be behind it also. And the newborn child should be prayed over."
Urdu Translation
حضرت مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: «چلنے والا جنازے کے پیچھے ہو اور سوار بھی اس کے پیچھے ہو۔ اور نوزائیدہ بچے پر بھی نماز جنازہ پڑھی جائے۔»
