أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ أَنْبَأَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ غَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَاسْتَاكَ وَلَبِسَ أَحْسَنَ ثِيَابِهِ وَتَطَيَّبَ بِطِيبٍ إِنْ وَجَدَهُ ثُمَّ جَاءَ وَلَمْ يَتَخَطَّ النَّاسَ فَصَلَّى مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ فَإِذَا خَرَجَ الْإِمَامُ سَكَتَ فَذَلِكَ كَفَّارَةٌ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ الْأُخْرَى»
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurayrah and Abu Sa'id (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Whoever takes a bath on the day of Friday, uses the miswak (tooth-stick), wears his best clothes, applies perfume if he finds it, then comes (to the mosque) without stepping over people, prays whatever Allah wills for him, and when the Imam comes out, he remains silent - that will be an expiation (for his sins) until the next Friday.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ اور ابو سعید رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: 'جس نے جمعہ کے دن غسل کیا، مسواک کی، اپنے بہترین کپڑے پہنے، اگر خوشبو ملے تو لگائی، پھر آیا اور لوگوں کی گردنیں نہ پھلانگیں، جتنی نماز اللہ نے چاہی پڑھی، پھر جب امام نکلا تو خاموش رہا، تو یہ اگلے جمعہ تک (گناہوں کا) کفارہ ہوگا۔'
