Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" دَخَلَتِ امْرَأَةٌ النَّارَ فِي هِرَّةٍ، فَقِيلَ : لَا أَنْتِ أَطْعَمْتِيهَا وَسَقَيْتِيهَا، وَلَا أَنْتِ أَرْسَلْتِيهَا فَتَأْكُلَ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ "
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "A woman entered the Fire because of a cat. She neither fed it nor gave it water, nor did she let it go so that it could eat from the insects of the earth."
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "ایک عورت ایک بلی کی وجہ سے جہنم میں داخل ہوئی۔ نہ اس نے اسے کھلایا پلایا اور نہ ہی اسے چھوڑا کہ وہ زمین کے کیڑے مکوڑے کھا لیتی۔"
