Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ لَهُ :" سَمِّ اللَّهَ وَكُلْ مِمَّا يَلِيكَ "
English Translation
Hadrat Umar ibn Abi Salamah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said to him: 'Mention the name of Allah and eat from what is nearest to you.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت عمر بن ابی سلمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا: 'اللہ کا نام لو اور اپنے قریب سے کھاؤ۔'
