English Translation
Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "We set out with the Prophet (peace be upon him) on a journey during extremely hot weather. The heat was so intense that a person would place his hand on his head (for shade). None of us was fasting except the Prophet (peace be upon him) and Abdullah ibn Rawahah (may Allah be pleased with him)."

سیدنا ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہہم گرمی کے موسم میں نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ہمراہ کسی سفر میں نکلے، ایسی سخت گرمی تھی کہ آدمی شدید گرمی سے اپنے سر پر ہاتھ رکھ لیتا تھا اور کوئی شخص ہم میں سے روزہ دار نہ تھا سوائے نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماور عبداللہ ابن رواحہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 946]
