English Translation
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) set out toward Makkah during Ramadan and fasted continuously. When he reached al-Kadid, he broke his fast, and the people also broke their fasts."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم(ایک مرتبہ) رمضان میں مکہ کی طرف تشریف لے چلے تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے متواتر روزے رکھے یہاں تک کہ جب مقام”کدید“پر پہنچے تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے روزہ رکھنا چھوڑ دیا تو لوگوں نے بھی روزہ رکھنا چھوڑ دیا۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 945]
