English Translation
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked how many Umrahs the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) performed. He said: "Four. The first was the Umrah of Hudaybiyyah in Dhul-Qa'dah, where the polytheists turned him back. The second was the Umrah of al-Qada (the compensatory Umrah) in Dhul-Qa'dah the following year, after the treaty with the polytheists. The third was the Umrah from Ji'ranah, when he distributed the war spoils (of Hunayn)." The narrator asked: "How many pilgrimages (Hajj) did the Prophet (peace be upon him) perform?" Anas replied: "Only one — the Farewell Pilgrimage."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا گیا کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے کتنے عمرے ادا فرمائے تو انھوں نے کہا، چار ایک عمرہ حدیبیہ ذیقعدہ میں کیا جہاں پر مشرکوں نے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو واپس کر دیا تھا اور ایک عمرہ قضاء ذیقعدہ ہی میں آئندہ سال کیا جب کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے مشرکوں سے صلح کی تھی اور ایک عمرہ جعرانہ (آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے) اس وقت (کیا) جب کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے (شاید حنین کا) مال غنیمت تقسیم کیا۔ راوی کہتا ہے کہ میں نے پوچھا کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے کس قدر حج ادا فرمائے؟ تو سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ صرف ایک ہی (یعنی حجتہ الوداع)۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 866]
