English Translation
Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "The prostration of Surah Sad is not from the obligatory prostrations, but I have indeed seen the Prophet (peace be upon him) prostrate in it."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہسورۃ ص کا سجدہ ضروری سجدوں میں نہیں ہے اور بیشک میں نے نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو اس میں سجدہ کرتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 570]
