English Translation
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: 'Whoever prays in a single garment should cross its two ends (i.e., put the right end over the left shoulder and the left end over the right shoulder).'"
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہمیں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو میں نے یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جو شخص ایک کپڑے میں نماز پڑھے تو چاہیے کہ اس کے دونوں سروں کے درمیان تفریق کر لے۔ (یعنی دایاں سرا بائیں کندھے پر اور بایاں سرا دائیں کندھے پر)۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 235]
