English Translation
Narrated Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "My likeness and the likeness of that with which Allah has sent me is like a man who came to a people and said: 'I have seen with my own eyes an enemy army approaching, and I warn you plainly, so save yourselves from it, save yourselves from it.' One group obeyed him and set out at night, and they were saved. But the other group did not heed him; in the morning the army came upon them and destroyed them."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”میری مثال اور اس کی مثال جو اللہ نے میرے پاس بھیجا ہے اس شخص کی طرح ہے جس نے کسی قوم سے آ کر کہا کہ میں نے اپنی دونوں آنکھوں سے دیکھا کہ ایک لشکر دشمنوں کا آتا ہے اور میں تمہیں صاف صاف ڈراتا ہوں کہ تم اس سے بچو، اس سے بچو۔ ایک گروہ نے اس کی بات کو مانا اور رات ہی رات وہاں سے چل دیا وہ تو بچ گیا اور دوسرے گروہ نے اس کا کہنا نہ مانا، صبح کو وہ لشکر آ پہنچا اور اس نے انھیں مار ڈالا۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2109]
