English Translation
Narrated Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "A person may suddenly utter a word pleasing to Allah, to which he attaches no importance, yet Allah the Exalted raises his ranks because of it. And (at times) a person may utter a word displeasing to Allah the Exalted, which he considers no great sin, yet because of it he falls into Hell."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”انسان اچانک کبھی اللہ کی رضا کی کوئی بات کہہ دیتا ہے اور وہ اسے کوئی اہمیت نہیں دیتا تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس کی وجہ سے اس کے درجے بلند کرتا ہے اور (کبھی) انسان کوئی بات اللہ تعالیٰ کی ناراضگی کی کہہ دیتا ہے اور وہ اسے کوئی بڑا گناہ نہیں سمجھتا حالانکہ اس کی وجہ سے جہنم میں گر جاتا ہے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2108]
