English Translation
It is narrated from Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) that when she would come to a woman afflicted with fever, she would pray for her and take water and pour it into her collar, and she used to say that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) told us in this way to cool the fever with water.
Urdu Translation
سیدہ اسماء بنت ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہجب وہ کسی بخار چڑھی عورت کے پاس آتیں تو اس کے لیے دعا کرتیں اور پانی لے کر گربیان میں ڈال دیتیں اور کہا کرتیں کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ہمیں اسی طرح بتلایا ہے کہ اس بخار کو پانی سے ٹھنڈا کیا کرو۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1972]
