English Translation
Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him): He heard the Prophet (peace be upon him), when his uncle (Abu Talib) was mentioned, say: "Perhaps on the Day of Judgment, my intercession will benefit him so that he is placed in shallow fire reaching his ankles, which will cause his brain to boil."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہانھوں نے نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سنا، جب آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے چچا (ابوطالب) کا ذکر آیا تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”قیامت کے دن میری شفاعت سے شاید انھیں اتنا فائدہ ہو کہ وہ کم گہری آگ میں ڈالے جائیں، جو ٹخنوں تک پہنچے جس سے ان کا دماغ جوش مارتا رہے گا۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1587]
