English Translation
Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "My example and the example of the other Prophets is like that of a man who built a house, completed it and made it beautiful, except for the place of one brick. People would enter the house and marvel at it, saying: 'If only this missing brick were put in place!' I am that brick, and I am the seal of the Prophets."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”میری اور دوسرے پیغمبروں کی مثال ایسی ہے جیسے کسی شخص نے ایک مکمل گھر بنایا اور بہت اچھا بنایا مگر ایک اینٹ کی جگہ خالی چھوڑ دی تو لوگ اس گھر میں جانے لگے اور تعجب کرنے لگے کہ یہ اینٹ کی جگہ اگر خالی نہ ہوتی تو کیسا اچھا مکمل گھر ہوتا۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1475]
