English Translation
Jubayr ibn Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "I have five names: I am Muhammad, I am Ahmad, I am al-Mahi (the Eraser) through whom Allah will erase disbelief, I am al-Hashir (the Gatherer) after whom people will be gathered, and I am al-'Aqib (the Last) — meaning the seal of the Prophets, after whom no new Prophet will come."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا جبیر بن مطعم رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”میرے پانچ نام ہیں: میں محمد ہوں اور احمد اور ماحی یعنی مٹانے والا اللہ تعالیٰ کفر کو میرے ہاتھ سے مٹوائے گا اور حاشر یعنی لوگ میرے بعد حشر کیے جائیں گے اور عاقب (یعنی خاتم النبیین میرے بعد دنیا میں کوئی نیا پیغمبر نہیں آئے گا)“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1473]
