حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أُمِرَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْضَاءٍ، وَلاَ يَكُفَّ شَعَرًا وَلاَ ثَوْبًا الْجَبْهَةِ وَالْيَدَيْنِ وَالرُّكْبَتَيْنِ وَالرِّجْلَيْنِ.
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was commanded to prostrate on seven limbs and not to tuck up his hair or garment: the forehead, both hands, both knees, and both feet.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو حکم دیا گیا کہ سات اعضاء پر سجدہ کریں اور نہ بال سمیٹیں نہ کپڑا: پیشانی، دونوں ہاتھ، دونوں گھٹنے اور دونوں پاؤں۔
