حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جُنْدَبًا، قَالَ شَهِدْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَلَّى يَوْمَ عِيدٍ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ ثُمَّ قَالَ " مَنْ ذَبَحَ فَلْيُبَدِّلْ مَكَانَهَا، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ ذَبَحَ فَلْيَذْبَحْ بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ ".
English Translation
Sulayman ibn Harb narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from al-Aswad ibn Qays, who said: I heard Jundab (may Allah be well pleased with him) say: I was present with the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). He prayed on the day of Eid, then gave the sermon, then stated: "Whoever has already slaughtered (before the Eid prayer), let him slaughter another in its place, and whoever has not yet slaughtered, let him slaughter in the name of Allah."
Urdu Translation
ہم سے سلیمان بن حرب نے بیان کیا، ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے اسود بن قیس سے، انہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے حضرت جندب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے سنا، انہوں نے فرمایا: میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ حاضر تھا۔ آپ نے عید کے دن نماز پڑھی، پھر خطبہ دیا، پھر ارشاد فرمایا: "جس نے (عید کی نماز سے پہلے) ذبح کر لیا ہو وہ اس کی جگہ دوبارہ ذبح کرے، اور جس نے ابھی ذبح نہ کیا ہو وہ اللہ کے نام سے ذبح کرے۔"
