حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ، وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " تَفْضُلُ صَلاَةُ الْجَمِيعِ صَلاَةَ أَحَدِكُمْ وَحْدَهُ بِخَمْسٍ وَعِشْرِينَ جُزْءًا، وَتَجْتَمِعُ مَلاَئِكَةُ اللَّيْلِ وَمَلاَئِكَةُ النَّهَارِ فِي صَلاَةِ الْفَجْرِ ". ثُمَّ يَقُولُ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَاقْرَءُوا إِنْ شِئْتُمْ {إِنَّ قُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ كَانَ مَشْهُودًا}
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates that he heard the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) saying: 'The congregational prayer is twenty-five degrees superior to the prayer offered alone. And the angels of the night and the angels of the day gather at the time of the Fajr prayer.' Then Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: 'Recite, if you wish: Indeed, the Quran recited at dawn is witnessed (17:78) - meaning the angels attend the recitation at Fajr.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے سنا، آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: جماعت سے نماز تنہا نماز سے پچیس درجے افضل ہے۔ اور رات کے فرشتے اور دن کے فرشتے فجر کی نماز میں جمع ہوتے ہیں۔ پھر حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے فرمایا: چاہو تو یہ آیت پڑھ لو: «إن قرآن الفجر كان مشهودا» (بنی اسرائیل: 78) یعنی فجر کی قراءت کے وقت فرشتے حاضر ہوتے ہیں۔
