Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا خَلاَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا جَبَلَةُ بْنُ سُحَيْمٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ يَقُولُ نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يَقْرُنَ الرَّجُلُ بَيْنَ التَّمْرَتَيْنِ جَمِيعًا، حَتَّى يَسْتَأْذِنَ أَصْحَابَهُ.
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) who said: The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade anyone from eating two dates together at a time without taking the permission of his companions (sharing the meal).
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا: نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے منع فرمایا کہ کوئی شخص اپنے ساتھیوں کی اجازت کے بغیر دو دو کھجوریں ایک ساتھ ملا کر کھائے۔
