حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، قَالَ سَأَلْنَا ابْنَ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنْ رَجُلٍ، طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ فِي عُمْرَةٍ، وَلَمْ يَطُفْ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ أَيَأْتِي امْرَأَتَهُ فَقَالَ قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ سَبْعًا، وَصَلَّى خَلْفَ الْمَقَامِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، فَطَافَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ سَبْعًا {لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ}. وَسَأَلْنَا جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ فَقَالَ لاَ يَقْرَبَنَّهَا حَتَّى يَطُوفَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ.
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat `Amr bin Dinar that we asked Hadrat Ibn `Umar whether a man who, while performing `Umra, had performed Tawaf of the Ka`ba; and had not yet performed Tawaf between Safa and Marwa, could have sexual relation with his wife, Hadrat Ibn `Umar replied "The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) reached Mecca and performed the seven rounds (of Tawaf) of the Ka`ba and then offered a two-rak`at prayer behind Maqam Ibrahim (upon him be peace) and then performed the seven rounds (of Tawaf) between Safa and Marwa." He added, "Verily! In Allah's Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) you have a good example." We asked Jabir bin `Hadrat Abdullah (the same question) and he said, "He (that man) should not come near (his wife) till he has completed Tawaf between Safa and Marwa
Urdu Translation
ہم سے علی بن عبداللہ مدینی نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے عمرو بن دینار سے بیان کہ ہم نے حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے ایک ایسے شخص کے متعلق پوچھا جو عمرہ میں بیت اللہ کا طواف تو کر لے لیکن صفا اور مروہ کی سعی نہیں کرتا، کیا وہ اپنی بیوی سے صحبت کر سکتا ہے۔ انہوں نے جواب دیا نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ( مکہ ) تشریف لائے تو آپ نے بیت اللہ کا سات چکروں کے ساتھ طواف کیا اور مقام ابراہیم کے پیچھے دو رکعت نماز پڑھی۔ پھر صفا اور مروہ کی سات مرتبہ سعی کی اور تمہارے لیے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی زندگی بہترین نمونہ ہے۔
